Alexis has been begging me for 2 years to put her in soccer. Her dream came true, and she was very enthusiastic throughout the season. Her team needed to come up with a name, and Alexis knew exactly what they would be called.....ICE WOLVES! What in the
world does soccer have to do with ice? Well, the rest of the team loved it, and the name was selected.
In little buckaroo soccer, no one keeps score (except for Hunter who demands on sitting on the sidelines keeping score with tally marks). Players are taught rules, techniques, and good sportsmanship.
Alexis volunteers every time they need someone to throw the ball in!
We love that there is sheer enjoyment on all the kids' faces. They truly loved just playing, and they weren't worried about winning.....well, in the beginning (until Hunter started keeping score!).
Alexis' Favorite thing is to swing from the goal!! We have to remind her to keep her head in the game.
